Welcome to the Snake Valley Astronomical Association.

Snake Valley is nestled between Ballarat and Beaufort in western Victoria.

We are fortunate to have very dark country sky which makes our viewing nights quite spectacular.

We meet together for Group Nights each month where we look through Telescopes and Binoculars, and even with just our eyes.

Visitors and new members are always welcome to come along and join in on our dark sky and see the Marvels of the Universe.

We meet at our Clubroom at 825 Linton/Carngham Road, Snake Valley on the closest Friday night to the New Moon each month. The New Moon gives us dark skies. Someone is often there on other Friday nights too, but ring first to check.
